A 'week' will normally consist of race meetings run on a Sunday to a Saturday from which accumulated Points as descibed below, are added to a Weekly Leaderboard.
For promotional purposes the format of a 'weekly' contest may change at Racingworld Technology Limited's discretion. Changes may include limiting the number of Daily Contests that quailfy to make up a 'week'. Any changes made will be emailed in advance.
Your best total Points accrued from any three, or less, individual Daily Contest entries, operated on different meetings that Daily Contests are run on during a week (only your best entry qualifies if entering multiple times on one event), will be added to the Weekly Leaderboard.

On Monday you enter a Daily Contest at Southwell and score 33.00 Points. On Tuesday you enter a Daily Contest at Bath and score 48.00 Points. From March 12th 2007 Weekly Contests will see the percentage of stakes taken from the Daily Contest Pools and allocated to Weekly Contest Pool prizes, decrease from 15% to 13.5% and the format of the Weekly (Sunday to Saturday) Leaderboard operates as follows;
Perfect Pick Jackpot (123racing only)
The Perfect Pick Jackpot Prize Pool was introduced on March 5th 2007, and has a Guaranteed starting prize of £1000 which jackpots each day based on 1.5% of total received stakes from every Daily Contest being applied to this Pool. The Perfect Pick Jackpot is struck whenever one or more players pick ALL of the winning horses on any fully completed meeting a Daily Contest is run on. To qualify all races listed on the card must be completed and resulted. A race meeting will not qualify if it is abandoned before or during its running, or if any race listed on the card cancelled for any reason. TIE Rules apply. Our first Perfect Pick Jackpot was won on the 10th of March Sandown meeting.
Prize Pools:
During our launch promotion each Daily Contest has a minimum Guaranteed minimum Prize Pool of £250 but this may change in the future at Racingworld Technology Limited's discretion.
The minimum stake will be £2 with no maximum stake to enter a contest.
The prize pool dividends are declared to a £2 unit stake.
The player(s) that accumulate the most points at the conclusion of the contest will be deemed to be the Winner(s) of that contest.
Deduction for Horse Racing
To cover UK racing levies & taxes, expenses & commissions, Racingworld Technology Limited takes 30% from each individual Daily Contest Pool; the remaining 70% of total prize pool will be distributed as follows;
Daily Contest Pool = 55%
Weekly Contest Pool = 13.5%
Perfect Pick Jackpot = 1.5%
Daily Contest Prize Pool Distribution (after deductions):
60% is awarded to 1st Place
30% is awarded to 2nd Place
10% is awarded to 3rd Place
Weekly Pools have NO DEDUCTIONS and are distributed as follows:
60% is awarded to 1st Place
30% is awarded to 2nd Place
10% is awarded to 3rd Place
The Perfect Pick Jackpot Pool has NO DEDUCTIONS and is distributed as follows:
The Perfect Pick Jackpot is struck whenever one or more players pick ALL of the winning horses on any fully completed meeting a Daily Contest is run on. To qualify all races listed on the card must be completed and resulted. A race meeting will not qualify if it is abandoned before or during its running, or if any race listed on the card cancelled for any reason. TIE Rules apply. In the event that this Jackpot is struck the pool will be reset to the guaranteed starting Prize Pool.
In the event of a tie for 1st, 2nd or 3rd place in any Daily and Weekly Contest, the prize pool dividends for those finishing positions will be combined and shared equally between the number of tied winners in that contest.
Tied Finishers Examples:
If 4 entries tie for 1st, then the combined total of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize pool dividend would be shared equally between the 4 winners.
If 1 entry is 1st, the entrant will collect the 1st prize pool Dividend. If 4 entries tie for 2nd, those entrants will share the combined total of the 2nd and 3rd prize pool dividend equally between them.
If 1 entry is 1st, 1 entry is 2nd, 3 entries tie for 3rd, the winning entrant collects the 1st prize pool dividend. The 2nd place entrant collects the 2nd prize pool dividend and the 3rd place entrants will share the 3rd prize pool dividend equally between them.
Guaranteed Winners - Daily & Weekly Contests (123racing only)
All Daily & Weekly Contests must have a winner(s) as each Leaderboard Pool is terminating.
Non Runners
When a selection is declared a non runner you will automatically be allocated the horse with the highest 123rating. Where two or more horses have the same rating the one with the lowest race card number will be deemed your selection.
After an automatic allocation due to a non-runner you can still log onto the site and change that selection, provided the meeting is not in play. Once the meeting has been turned in play no selections can be changed.
Abandonment / Cancellation - Daily Contests
A fixture / contest that is abandoned / cancelled before a race is run will be void with all entry fees returned. A meeting shall be deemed to have started once the first race has weighed in. Should a race be declared void or the fixture cancelled after the first race has been completed the prize pool dividend will be declared on the remaining number of races in that contest. The Perfect Pick Jackpot becomes null and void if any individual race or meeting is declared cancelled or abandoned.
Abandonment / Cancellation - Weekly Contests
Any Daily Contest that is abandoned / cancelled will cause the estimated Weekly Contest Prize Pool to be reduced accordingly.
Weekly Leaderboard Contest (123racing only):
Only meetings in the published weekly list count towards the Weekly Leaderboard. On Saturday three meetings will be covered that have individual Guaranteed minimum £250 Prize Pools. Sunday to Friday there will be one Daily Contest Guaranteed minimum £250 Prize Pools. At the beginning of each new Weekly Contest the Prize Pool will show either daily accruing balance based on the 13.5% share of all Daily Contest stakes placed or an ESTIMATED total Prize Pool figure based on the number of scheduled meetings that Daily Contests will be run on for that week. In the event of abandonment / cancellation this estimated amount may reduce.
A proposed list of weekly fixtures will be published in advance on the website. We reserve the right to change or limit the fixtures that make up any given Weekly Contest.
The Weekly Leaderboard's prize pool is funded by the 13.5% deduction taken from the Daily Contests.
Example:
On a given week of eight individual Daily Contests with average estimated prize pools of £5000 the total turnover will equate to £40,000. The 13.5% deduction from the Daily Contests will give a Weekly Leaderboard prize pool of £5,400 to be distributed accordingly.
The Weekly Leaderboard prize pool will be distributed without deductions.
In the event of multiple entries by a player on a Daily Contest, the entry with the highest score will count towards the Weekly Leaderboard.
A player's three, or less, best individual Daily Contests entries will be attributed to the Weekly Leaderboard. It is possible to win a prize with just one entry but it's highly unlikely. Entering three or more Daily Contests will give you the best chance of winning.
The winner of the Weekly Leaderboard will be the player who accumulates the most points from their three, or less, best individual Daily Contest entry run at separate daily meetings.
Weekly Leaderboard Prize Pool Distribution (No deductions):
60% is awarded to 1st Place
30% is awarded to 2nd Place
10% is awarded to 3rd Place
In the event of a tie for 1st, 2nd or 3rd place, the prize pool dividends for those finishing positions will be shared equally between the number of tied winners in that contest.
